Some Responses to the Page:

“A BIG THANK YOU for making your Germ Patrol page available to everyone for free. I really appreciate it! Coming from a small newspaper, being part-time, makes it difficult to utilize all the great products available. I really appreciate the opportunity to share this page with my teachers and our readers. I ran it today. Thank you again.”

“Thank you for offering the germ patrol page free to all the NIE programs. I really appreciate it. I was not able to gain a sponsor for it, but the publisher said it was important enough to run with a sponsor. I am running it tomorrow & have 950 extra school papers going out. I really enjoyed the content. Thanks again!”

“We're delivering 7482 additional papers on Tuesday with the Germ Patrol edition of Kid Scoop. We offered this at no cost to elementary schools. Along with the papers we will deliver the attached sheet to each teacher. Please share if others want to use this or do something similar. This is a great way for us to get into some schools that aren't participating in NIE. I'll follow up with a request to the principal to visit during a staff meeting to tell teachers more about NIE.”

“I received a nice email from a teacher today about the germ patrol page we ran last Wed. I thought you would like to read it too:

"My kids had a blast reading the Kids Page yesterday. They made posters to put in the hallway. One group even acted out a quick skit about germs. Thanks for the page!!!”

“I promoted it to all schools K-8 and even had 2 High School Teachers, 1 art, 1 literature/speech who wanted papers too. The art teacher said they share supplies all day & wanted them to be aware of spreading germs. the Literature was going to use it for different speech topics & debate.”
