Celebration of Cajun Culture
http://www.coonass.com/
Audience: Teachers

This site is designed and maintained by Andrew Guidroz II, a man proud of his Acadian/Cajun family heritage. Click “On Being Cajun” to read his personal family history/autobiography. What you'll find here is a wonderful and personal expression of what it means to be Cajun. Not all the links work, but the family history and “Scenes From Acadiana” will enrich lessons on Southern social studies.

Acadian Cultural Society
http://www.acadiancultural.org/
Audience: Teacher resource

This site is a center of modern Acadian community as well as Acadian history. The Acadian Cultural Society is based out of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, and strives to maintain the cultural identity of the marginalized ethnic group expelled from Nova Scotia in 1755. Their history-rich site is very straightforward, and easy to navigate. Teachers will find here a wealth of culture to share in classrooms.
