The Jet Propulsion Lab at NASA has a lot to offer about the Rover. For background on this project, dip into the horizontal menu bar that provides an overview, info on the science, etc. Then look to the red area on the left for links areas for kids, students, and teachers. The kids’ area, where the fun stuff resides, calls for Flash software, which you can usually download. The student area takes you to a couple of major projects that involve students. On the educators’ page, there are four programs teachers can sign up for to participate in. There is also a Mars Exploration Program’s Classroom section, where there are lessons, resources and programs about Mars.
