After reading about champion Olympic speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno, young readers will calculate Ohno’s fitness schedule as they hone their own measurement skills using time and calendar. Students will read about ways to increase their own physical activity while experimenting with muscle memory and will use the newspaper to hold an athletic pose.
