You can join a club or you can start a club of your own. Either way, you have to decide if the club is a good match for you because by clubs—by intent—bring together people who share your interests. There are clubs in neighborhoods, schools and immunities for all ages, genders and walks of life. Some clubs focus on fun, exercise or sports. Some gather members to help others. This issue takes a closer look at clubs that serve. What kind of clubs might you join or establish? It’s up to you!

  • Recognize club symbols
  • Use the newspaper to find local service clubs
  • Consider and write about the meaning of the Rotary motto
  • Look for local volunteer opportunities
  • Thank a local volunteer
