Conflict Resolution Part 3

← Continue shopping

The third installment of Conflict Resolution gives students a chance to choose behaviors that are either “fair” (resolve conflict) or “foul” (make a conflict worse). When faced with real situations, what would you choose? Hands on scenarios provide practice so small learners with big feelings will know they are in charge of the way they choose to react the next time someone cuts in line on the playground or calls them a name. And we know practice makes perfect … or at least helps us be prepared!

In this issue students will:

  • Read expository text about resolving conflicts fairly
  • Identify best options
  • Evaluate “fair” or “foul” behavior
  • Choose vowels to complete a kindness quote
  • Use the newspaper to think critically about values
  • Write creatively to stop bullying
  • Discvoer cutlines in newspaper photos and play a matching game with a pal
  • Complete a “close” activity about the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation
