Calling all reporters! This issue focuses on sharpening interview skills—something all budding reporters and writers need to hone. Guidelines for how to act while contacting potential interview subjects, interview protocol and manners, and types of questions to ask help prepare for the project. Newspaper activities help young readers to focus on interpretation skills as they try to figure out what kind of questions were asked. Additional readings introduce students to young entrepreneurs who’ve made a name for themselves in business while still in school.
