Kindness makes our homes, classrooms, neighborhoods and communities better places to live and play. A little kindness can make your day—and someone else’s day—a lot better! This issue explores kindness in many forms—what it looks like, what it sounds like, how to recognize it and experience it. Try your hand at Kindness Bingo for one week and discover the difference in yourself, your friends and your family as you complete every box! Learn how students in other communities deliver daily doses and deeds of kindness. Next, locate examples in your newspaper and create a kindness poster to display. Share your ideas in a descriptive poem, and write an opinion piece to your local editor. Discover the “kinds of kindness” you can bring to your community!
