Students will read the legendary argument between the Sky and the Sea that resulted in this string of islands stretching across the western Pacific. The coconut tree and its many uses introduce concepts of conservation of resources. Solving math puzzles results in learning to count from one to ten in the native language and understanding the symbols in the Philippine flag.
