Sometimes it’s fun to do things by yourself—like reading a book, drawing a picture, or making up your own game. When you’re on your own, you get to use your imagination and do things your way! But some things are easier (and more fun!) with a partner—like finishing a giant puzzle, learning a tricky game, or feeling better when you’re sad or scared. Working together means sharing ideas, taking turns, and cheering each other on. You might even come up with something more amazing as a team than you could alone! This issue is about finding the best times to team up, try new activities with a partner, and discover how AWESOME teamwork can be!
In this issue students will:
- read informational text about sharing time together
- identify activities to be done with a partner or group
- decorate for a virtual birthday party
- use the newspaper to find activities for more than one person
- understand that creating a newspaper takes teamwork
- write descriptively bout your favorite “me” time activity
