It’s the densest of all the wild cats as they live in the cold mountains of Central Asia and Eurasia. They hide in rocky crags and ambush their prey. Recently a team was able to protect a strip of land between Kazakhstan and Mongolia as a sanctuary in order to study the population and understand them better. One thing they all have in common is that grumpy expression!
