Cozy Up With a Good Book

November is a great month to slow down and make reading feel cozy and special. Try setting aside 20 minutes each day for family reading time. Let your child choose the book, find a comfy spot, and read together without rushing. When you finish, ask what part they liked best, what surprised them, or what they think might happen next.

You can also try a family story night and share stories from your own childhood. It is a simple way to connect reading, storytelling, and family memories. Little routines like these can help children build confidence, strengthen comprehension, and most importantly, enjoy reading as something special you do together.

A few minutes of reading each day can inspire a lifetime of curiosity.

Thank you for helping us inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in young readers.
