Alliteration and Assonance

Write a poem about a panda using alliteration and assonance.

Alliteration means repeating a letter or a consonant sound at the beginning of the words. For example, “playful, plump, panda in peril.”

Assonance means repeating a vowel sound such as “Miranda met a panda on the veranda” or “the panda can chew its bamboo.”

Circle the examples of alliteration and assonance in your poem.
